10/10/09 at Fenton 7-2 Loss

On a cold Saturday morning, the Trojans lost to a tough Fenton High School team. The Trojans struck first and quickly with Hoon Han stealing the ball from a defender to Justin Rink, who then played Hoon through towards goal and Hoon buried the shot near post. Fenton came back quickly and scored 3 goals in the first half. At the end of the first half though, Timothy was able to draw a Penalty Kick on a hand ball in Fenton's box. Nate Slager was able to put the PK home. The second half was a different story with Fenton putting home 4 more goals.

!0/8/09 at Ridgewood 1-0 Win

In a cold wet game, the Torjans were able to prevail. After dominating most of the game with a majority of the chances, Hoon Han was able to get the Trojans on the board with a shot from the 18 with about 10 minutes left. The defense was able to hang on for the win.

10/06/09 vs Riverside-Brookfield 2-1 Loss

On another windy day against Riverside, the Trojans came up just short. After a shut-out half from Max Jaabay and the defense, Riverside was able to score two goals in the second half on two long great shots. The Trojans kept battling and finally scored with 2 minutes left to play. On a corner kick by Devon Loerop, Zac Postma challenged for the header. Jason Kuiper got on the end of it and kept it in play for Jay to knock home for his first goal of the year.

10/3/09 at Addison Trail 4-1 Win

On another tough surface with long grass, the Trojans were able to reverse their fortune and come away with a win 4-1. Justin Rink was the set-up man of the day with 3 assists. Off a throw in from Brandon Kottke, Justin connected on a cross with Nate Slager in the first half and the halftime score was 1-0. After Addison Trail was able to tie early in the second half, the Trojans responded back. Justin again set-up Hoon, who was able to find the far corner of the net. The third goal came off a cross from Justin that Matt Huizenga was able to put in the back off the net. Nate Slager tallied his second goal of the day off a steal and breakaway for the final Trojan goal.

10/01/09 vs Fenton 4-1 Loss

On a cold rainy day, the Trojans were unable to adapt to the elements and took the loss 4-1. The lone Trojan goal came from Justin rink on an assist from Hoon.

9/29/09 vs Elmwood Park 8-1 Win

The Trojans were able to extend their home winning streak to 3 with an 8-1 win against Elmwood Park. Playing in only his second game all year, due to transfer rules, Hoon was able to tally his first two goals of the year. Danny Leach, in his first opportunity to play the field, also notched two goals. Goals were also scored by Matt DeJong, Nate Slager, Jason Kuiper, and Jake Hooker. Justin Rink and Nate Slager each had two assists, with Devon Loerop and Zac Postma also providing assists.

9/28/09 at Riverside-Brookfield 2-1 Loss

Drastic conditions again played into a loss for the Trojans. Strong winds all game long made for a tough place to play. After the first half, the score was tied 1-1, with Jake Hooker putting home a cross from Aaron Snoeyink. Riverside-Brookfield was able to take the lead in the second half with an amazing shot and the Trojans were unable to respond.

9/26/09 vs. Earlville 3-2 Win

In the first Saturday game of the season for JV, the Trojans were able to come away with a win. Earlville fought hard, but Timothy was able to hang on for the one goal win. Justin Rink, Jake Hooker, and Zac Postma notched the goals while Nate Slager provided two assists and Matt Robinson had one assist. This win was the second win in a row at home.

9/24/09 at Illiana 4-0 Loss

The Trojans were unable to come up with any offense as the field conditions played right into the home team's favor. The long grass prevented Timothy's passes from reaching their target and frustrated players that were looking to dribble. Illiana scored all their goals in the first half, as the Trojans stepped up their play in the second half, but were unable to find the back of the net.

9/22/09 vs Ridgewood 3-2 Win

The Trojans were able to get their first home win of the season against Ridgewood. Ridgewood was attacking late, but the Trojans were able to hang on to the one goal win. Justin Rink and Aaron Snoeyink both notched a goal and assist while Devon Loerop added a goal and Nate Slager an assist.
